He turned off the light and you could see all these flecks of water on his clothes and all over the walls and toilet too. That was enough to convince me to always put down the lid before flushing.<br/><br/>Then two weeks ago, John Tesh was on the radio saying that toothbrushes should be kept a minimum of six feet away from the toilet because the flushing action spreads airborne particles that you wind up putting in your mouth otherwise. Blech!!<br/><br/>I also don't do the anti-bacterial products. We are doing our children no favors by using that stuff. We're creating weaklings that won't be able survive in the work world or any other place where they have to be around others.<br/><br/>When I was in college as a biology major I remember learning that those kids with perpetually snotty faces who just suck the mucus away by licking their top lips...well, they turn out to be healthier than the ones whose mothers are constantly wiping away the snot. It turns out that the nasty little fluid that is the bane of many mother's existence is actually like receiving a little vaccination booster shot.
