yeah, I lied

You know all those sweet things I had to say about my beautiful, super smart daughter the other day?

You know, right down there a bit?

Yeah, about that. I take it all back.

It' s 4 o'clock in the morning. Which is, like, 7 or so in New York and probably a perfectly reasonable hour to be wide awake and learning Spanish on your Leapfrog Mis Animalitos Interactivos toy, except that:
  • I was unpacking from 10 this morning until 9 tonight, when it hit me that my kids might like to eat some dinner. It seriously never gets dark here.
  • I resumed unpacking at 10
  • I gave up at 11 and started cleaning instead.
  • By 12:30 I was all done with today and headed off to bed.
  • At 1, Holmes on Homes came on. Best. Show. Ever.
  • At 2:15, the t.v. went off.
  • At about 2:30 I started to doze off.
  • At 2:45 someone decided that her life could not continue one more single minute without a boob in her face.
  • At 3:15, that same someone decided that playing with daddy's glow in the dark watch sounded like loads of fun
  • At 3:45, I gave up and got out of bed.

And here we are, with all of you, spreading the joy around. Tomorrow is going to suck.
