Can I borrow your brain for like just one hour? Seriously, how do you not just walk around the house laughing your ass off at yourself. I'd get nothing done.
dude...i'm so turning into the cookie monster! thanks for noticing! ok...off to wax and pluck! btw...i'll be waiting for ideas on valentines games! keep em clean...these kids are in 4th grade! xoxo
Lovely, but I must say that I feel you have way too much time on your hands.
Harley was sick for a few days last week and Lynn was sick within a day after returning from San Francisco. Mom remains germ free, yet somehow gets blamed for the guys being ill--go figure.
Gawd. I remember the cookie monster song and my kid is 18... C is for cookie, that's good enough for me... Those shows rot your brain! I am living proof of it!
Yes, tv (or "P.B." as my daughter calls it) is the early-a.m. drug of choice in our house. It's for pre-coffee time, when you don't want to wake up yet. I've found the best way to imbibe these shows is to snuggle up under some blankets on the couch (or in the bed if you have PB in your bedroom), tuck your head strategically behind your child's so that he/she can see AND YOU CAN'T, drape one arm protectively over so that said child cannot fall off the couch, and promptly go back to sleep. Be sure the PB is on a channel with no commercials and all-acceptable-all-the-time programming (here that means the station called Noggin), and do not pass go, do not collect $200, just get yourself some zzzz's.
PS I like the six random things meme, where you just explain the six most nutty unknown facts about yourself. I haven't been tagged with it, so I can't exactly tag you with it, but I've seen it around a lot of places, and I think you should do it. Because I'd love to see what you come up with when you're actually working to be random and nutty...I'm thinking it would be a laugh riot! :) Have a good day.
roflmao!! very clever thinking there!! :) now watching sesame street will never be the same for me. lol :) why the hell do kids get up so darn early?? my kids do the same thing. oh well. till they are teens, then they won't want to ever get up... go figure. have a good one. hugs, jenn
Call me nuts but I stumbled upon some vintage Sesame Street clips on youtube which then became a nostalgic binge for me. I wasn't looking for it but I found one clip and BAM! A hour or 2 of my life....wasted. Some of the stuff was very trippy and clearly drug induced. Those were the days for our friends on the old Sesame Street. I like the Grover send up by the way.

Cartoons are not for children. There is going to be a Congressional investigation into Cookie's performance enhancing supplements.
