Doin' it like the Canadians do

Band aids? Check.
Steak for the black eyes? Check.
Jersey? Check.
Hat? Check.
Tickets? Check check.
Tonight, my lovely man and I are going to get our asses kicked, and kicked hard, by a mob of Canadian Hockey fans. There will be Coors Light. There will be strained vocal cords. There will be a babysitter. It will be delicious.
UPDATE: And then, and thennnnnn....it appears I get to GO TO HAWAII! Look, the ever-rockin' Anne Nahm has totally pimped my ride! Um? Best. Day. Ever.

Have a great time! Attending hockey games is one of my favorite things to do. I scored 2 tickets on Row 5 for a game in March for my main Christmas present. What my hubby felt I did to deserve these--I don't know.

Ok, I started out jealous that you were going to Hawaii. But since I already read that AnneNahm post and am vaguely suspicious of your ability to fold up into the size of a packet of skittles (I saw what all was already packed in there) and fit into a gym bag, the jealously wasn't too great.
But now that I read that you live close enough to LatteMommy to be able to meet up at hockey games (even if you actually aren't doing it this weekend), I'm TOTALLY jealous.
How about this: let's ALL go to Hawaii and leave all the hubs home with all the kids?

coors light is not beer. It is yellow, fizzy stuff. If you are going to a Canadian hockey game, you have to drink real beer. Like Guinness, or Bass. something with some umph to it.
