LOL...I posted about my kids outgrowing their clothes in a second today, too!! It's crazy, isn't it?? Where am I supposed to get money for 3 whole new wardrobes every month????
You could just do what I do: buy clothes 2 sizes too big for the 4 year old and 1 size too big for the 2 year old. It takes way longer for them to grow out of things that way. Of course, you have to be willing to do a lot of pants cuff rolling and sleeve push upping, and there are always some things that this doesn't really work well for. But it's great for standard t shirts of the long- and short-sleeve variety, and works well for cargo pants and jeans too.
Also, I know I'm completely uncool and lame and out of it, and whatever, but I really just don't get the Twitter thing. What's so great about it exactly? I know, I know, I sound like someone's granny, "Eh, I just don't see what's so great about this new-fangled technology. Back in MY day, we WALKED to each other's houses to have a chat, and if our friends weren't home, we were GLAD for the exercise. -harrumph-"
McDonalds is crack. It's better than crack. Because it comes with fries.
It's our household's diet killer. When the wife eats fruit for dinner to be good, she lasts 3 hours and them makes me go on a McDonald's run at 10:30pm. We'd have been better off just eating a big plate of Carbonara at 6.
I make CableDad sit out in the back yard at the patio table to eat McDs. I can't handle it. The smell will linger in the house for AGES otherwise and I have NO willpower for the fries. lol
and, yeah, Sayid is one hot mofo. ain't no doubt. lol
When I go through the drive-thru at McDonald's and order anything different, they say, "That's not your usual!". And I've forgotten my money a couple of times, and they let me have the food because, "we know you'll be back".
When I ovulate, it's a 20 minute doubled over in pain, gasping, sweating, can't talk, clenching my teeth sort of affair. If I ever want to get pregnant, I don't think there will be a problem with doing it at the right time.
That was awesome. I so very much agree on the Coffeemate issue, especially once they graduated from the vanilla and got into the whole Coconut Cream thing. I buy in big bulk bottles fearing it will go away like some of the "limited editions," which oughtta be illegal.
thank you. now i need a big xtra. also, i will spend the next 12 hours considering what the blanks could be for censored. see if i post a cumulation of answers tonight, to get you back for my future mcdonalds visit.
Well executed. Really good funny stuff. I love your blog regardless, but this post was well done. The writing style is what makes this sooooo good Thanks for this
yes, coffee must have coffeemate and yes, twitter has sucked me in & holds me like Patrick Swayzey held Baby in Dirty Dancing, spinning, twirling, throwing me here and there just to draw me in close again... what an adventure, & it's just getting started!
if so inclined, follow me @bgreen
oh, the PTA doesn't appreciate good help anyhow ;~)
it's late. i just got done with a stupid forsaken sales associate job that i got myself into even though i have a journalism degree. bc i so enjoy smelling perfumed lotions at five o'clock in the evening. epiphany: stick to journalism. selling sucks. non-epiphany: i can't figure out the censored comment. is that pathetic?
Oh sure, years ago you turned all red and threatened me if I ever said "vagina" in your presence again, but you, you get to talk about your itchy baby maker? Not. Fair.

I totally hear you on the lavender, I'm not fond of it to begin with.
Carly got sent home. So we have Dreadlocks boy, Miss Unicorn Farts, Sayesha (sp?), David C and David A left in the competition.
And seriously? Does your uterus really *itch*? that would drive me insane! Mine just gets all achy and stuff, not itchy.

the problem with cute kids is they grow up. somehow that behavior isn't quite so cute when they have beer bellies and hair growing out of their faces.
ok, that just sounded WRONG. obviously there wasn't enough coffee in my cup of coffeemate.

Twitter has me by the short and curlies too. I loves me some crazy arsed Tweets.
Not so much the 'I need to go poo' or 'eating dinner' or somesuch.
And you can use profanity on Twitter and it doesn't go all lame and 'you sure you wanna do that?' like my stupid email program.
Send me your twitter details so I can stalk you there too...

Your niece is really lovely. I'm really happy for you and your whole family. I know how long the wait was. Enjoy that little miracle.
But can one really enjoy coffeemate to it's fullest potential just on it's own?
