I Literally Have No Words

See the other Wordless Wednesdays, that aren't nearly as depressing as my baby girl going off to school, right here.

The dress is too precious..

Oh, how sweet. You can tell she is ready for school, she looks very excited. It reminds me of when I took my oldest to her first day of school. She didn't ever kiss me good bye.

oh i feel your pain!!!
My baby started preschool last tuesday and i just wanted to cry when he walked into that classroom so grown up with the other children...
Then when he rode the bus home... When he got off that bus i did start crying. Who said my little baby could go to school.
Shes a beautiful little girl. Just beautiful...

That is one cute pre-schooler! Hold on, Mom, you'll adjust in a few days.

She doesn't look too upset about it. :)

Don't worry, as the mom of two teens I can tell you that on her first day off for some holiday, you're going to be completely pissed off at the nerve of the school, giving her the day off and f-ing with your lovely routine. Trust me.

I remember those days....I was proud, sad, lonely and happy all at the same time. If you think this is rough to handle, wait 'til they grow up and leave the nest....[my youngest is nearing 40...so, I know what you've gone through. Heck I've seen two grandsons off to school...life it hard to handle sometimes, but still....all in all, live is good!!!!]

Mine's posted if you'd like to stop by...it's of one of my "children"....

September 17, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterHootin' Anni

I think it's worse when it's your baby. My youngest is three now, not quiet in school but I'm thinking he's about ready.

Pre-School means they're growing up, that they're that closer to not being your baby anymore.

But they make up for it, with the 'mommy/daddy look what I made' moments.

I love it, I hate it, and either way when Chaos goes to preschool I think it's going to have me drinking heavily. (I think it's going to have his teacher drinking heavily too, maybe for different reasons)

My son started two weeks ago. The first day he was so nervous and it was sad to see him getting so big. I didn't get all weepy like The Wife, but it was sad just the same. Now he says things like, "Can you just hug me here? I can walk to the door by myself."
