At Least I Can Admit When I'm Wrong
Maybe I lost in a big way, but look at those faces, man.

Those are some content looking people. And it hasn't all sucked for me, either.

A date. Just the two of us. In the middle of the night. With no curfew.
Maybe she just wants more grandchildren, I don't know. I'll take it, though.

Hey Lady! This is the soundtrack for your "date" night. Peace, Mike.
Oh well I know your built for action
But you just live your life too fast
If you don't slow down pretty soon
Your good days will have passed
So take it easy baby
There ain't no need to worry
The world won't end tonight
So tell me what's the hurry?
You should enjoy the long, long journey
Savor every hill and bend
You're gonna get there sooner or later
So don't worry about the end
Just take it easy baby
There ain't no need to worry
The world won't end tonight
So tell me what's the hurry?
You know the law of gravity
Says what goes up has to come down
And the faster you reach the limit
The sooner you come to ground
So take it easy baby
There ain't no need to worry
The world won't end tonight
So tell me what's the hurry?
You know, you shouldn't worry about the future
While you are still well in your prime
Just take it as you find it and you'll enjoy every time
Just take it easy baby
There ain't no need to worry
The world won't end tonight
So tell me what's the hurry?
Oooohh
Take it easy
Take your time
I know you're built for action
But you just live your life too fast
If you don't slow down pretty soon
Your good days will have passed
So take it easy baby
There ain't no need to worry
The world won't end tonight
So tell me what's the hurry?
You should enjoy the long, long journey
Savor every hill and bend
You're gonna get there sooner or later
So don't you worry about the end
Just take it easy baby
There ain't no need to worry
The world won't end tonight
So tell me what's the hurry?
Don't you worry about the future
While you are still well in your prime
Just take it as you find it
And you'll enjoy it every time
Just take it easy baby
There ain't no need to worry
The world won't end tonight
So tell me what's the hurry?
Oh yeah
Take it easy baby
Take it easy baby
Take it easy baby
Take it easy baby.

Dude, I'd take all the evil MILs for a date night!
Glad ya'll had a little relaxing time to yourselves. :-)
I guess mothers-in-law aren't all bad, huh?
I don't know if you'll see the same pictures from me, though, when my narcissistic everybody-done-me-wrong mother-in-law comes to visit in January.
It's good to see you're having such a good time! Everyone looks really happy!

My mother in law is in town now as well and we went out last night. It felt weird being out at night with nobody else on the road.... haven't done that for so long.

awww. that's a sweet picture.
hey,. there's no gum under his shoes. where's the reality in that! guess your house is cleaner than mine. i stepped into grape jelly early in the morning in the dark bc apparently the dining table two feet away was too far to eat a sandwich.
and may i note that that took place not under a man watch.
That's how it starts.
She'll be there everynight.
(tee-hee)
Just kidding.
Enjoy!

there is something exremely un-nerving about having parents around, in your house, and in your space... but then you see the flipside and even if it's only for a second, you can kinda be grateful for the vibe.
everyone looks so great, and your daughter... forgettaboutit.

Sometimes the worst revenge is getting someone all spun up and then giving them nowhere to go with the energy.
Nothing worse than getting pissed off and finding out you have no right to be. The energy has to go somewhere...
Hope you spent it on the date. ;-)

What's a date? If she want more Grandchildren she can have ours if we get a date. heh
Man your familia is hawtsause! Iris was just talk about how beautiful our kids were and she had her family taking all the credit. Then unprompted she said, "Though have you seen his sisters kids (she was talking to someone other than me about you), they are absolutly goregeous."
So we all know the truth, in some twist of fate and/or irony our family genes seem to rock!
Date night looks awesome...is that candlelight? Can't beat it. Glad you guys to to recharge the old batteries.
Something you didn't know about me. I am a blogging peeping tom. I peek at people houses when I look at their pictures. I can't help it. Its sort of like snooping through someone's medicine cabinet or flipping through their mail. I think everyone does it but I'm the only one man enough to admit it.
So is that an MC Escher print on the wall there? And, do you guys still have a VCR?
