Mr Lady
For the summertime blues.

Realizing you can finally ride a big kid scooter.

And also realizing you can play in the sticky forest with your best friend all by yourself. Ish.

And hose-water in your eyes, apparently.

And finding pots of gold.

Love the dress. So freaking adorable I could spit.
They are lovely photos. And where ever you live looks beautiful. :-) Me thinks Canada? :-)

trouble on yr hands ther, don't'cha know....
Holy crap, Mr Lady, your daughter seems to have gotten older overnight! (Don't panic or anything...) I LOOOVE the waterworks shots. Damn, you're good.
Ok, yeah. I need to buy a good camera and then learn how it works. And then I need to have some beautiful kids to take pictures of.
That dress is gorgeous, and your daughter is so adorable. Water fights are great summer fun. Fun shots for WW.
Catching bumblebees? *shudder* I tried that once when I was three years old, with the expected result. Since then there are certain long-time family friends who, even after thirty-seven years, still refer to me as "Bumblebee".
BTW, cute pictures of your little girl.
she is beautiful
:)
That is an awesome dress. Pretty sure my daughter would be willing to kill your daughter to get it. So instead of all the bloodshed, how 'bout you tell us where you got it?
My favorite part is her riding a scooter in that gorgeous dress.
Been lurking for quite a while, but I just love your blog. I'm totally jealous of your photography skills. You rock, Mr. Lady!! And that last one where you caught the rainbow? I actually gasped.
It's a Children's Place dress, in the big kids' section. Which is horrifying. :)
Methinks you're getting the hang of that fancy new camera of yours! Beautiful shots!
I glanced at the title of this post and was all like, "Cool! Some thoughts on my favorite 80's band."
Oh well. Awesome pictures with your new camera. I'm saving, saving for a new lens for my xsi.
I LOVE your blog!
What a perty dress :) Love the second photo with the water! Awesome set!
delurking to say i love 3of3's dress!! I'm so jealous :)
your little girl's so brave to be able to catch bumblebees--i'm TERRIFIED of bees, it could be because i've never been stung so i build it up to this horrifying experience in my mind, ha!
ok, going back to lurkdom now :)
loving the new shots with the new camera. Oh and speaking of The Cure..........WHERE IS MY CD?????
Gorgeous shots, especially the water ones!
I am dying for that dress now.
Cutest dress ever! Where can I get one?
Great set. It looks like lots of summertime fun.
That first shot is too cute!
I love that dress!
And kind of want to go spray somebody with a hose. Great rainbow!
Oh my, your girlie is really rocking that maxi dress... Children's place? Really? I know, that jump from 4T to XS is heartbreaking ;).
Great shots, I love me some Van sun...
The rainbow is wonderful. and that dress? I want it.
Um what temperature is it up there at the end of May? I'd bet my life savings (heh heh) that an Okie would have on a sweatshirt and jeans....this is based on my experience of Montana in May...
Okay, first off, I've heard from very reputable sources that there ain't, in fact, no cure for the summer time blues. Mind you, that's a double negative, so really, there IS a cure. nevermind, continue as you were.
Secondly...did she let you flat iron her hair, or what? How'd it get so straight and tame?
Those pictures are AWESOME!
If you'll excuse me, I'm going to get my camera manual and start reading...
Thanks I needed that little pick me up. I'll be sure to rememberthe scrip.
Those are great. Why was summer so much more fun when we were kids?
That dress is absolutely wonderful! (I know, I know, that's what everyone else has said, but it's true!)
Okay, on the last picture - it looks like she is peeing rainbow colors. You should cut back on giving the neighbor kids skittles!
STUNNING.
As usual, beautiful.
I want to go to there! Sunshine and rainbows and hose water and mini-maxi dresses! Sigh.
Love your pictures... beautiful children... ahhh summertime.
But catching Bumblebees? is she crazy?
Wow! Amazing photos!!
Such great photographs! You really capture the essence of their youth, they seem so carefree and enjoying every minute of their childhood. They all look so adorable! I'm loving the last shot with the rainbow :)
OMG I LOVE her dress!!!! And those pictures are absolutely fantastic!
aw just beautiful!
