Give and Take

I took all the ads down from my blog. I'm conducting a scientific experiment called "will I be able to actually start blogging again if there isn't anything monetary tied to it?" Time will tell.
I was going to apply for a grant to conduct this experiment, but then I saw this:
And they need a grant way more. My friend Kevin's daughter suffers from this autoimmune disorder, as do a lot of kids. A lot of kids suffer and die from it. See, here. Today is the last day to submit a vote to Pepsi Refresh on behalf of Kevin, his daughter, his family and community for a $250K grant to help find a cure. Really, you don't have to do jack, just click vote or text 100850 to 73774.

I hope the removal of ads works for you. It did for me. When I no longer had the pressure of blogging, I was able to return to it with my heart in the right place. I don't blog as often, but I do it when I want to, because I want to.

I'll take your ads if they work. Is it working for you? Ok, I'm completely new in bloggerville, but when I'm stuck, I just read the news and find some random idiot to blog about. There are a lot of idiots out there to help me ;)
I love my ad-less, absolute shit show of a blog. I don't actively promote it and the fewer people that see that thing, the better I feel about hitting publish because hot-damn I am one effed up chica.
Saw this cause on Twitter yesterday and got my vote on in time.
Only complaint ... it's taking this long to get over here! But I am from the South so it takes a while. This took an hour to tell you this.
